msfledermaus...I actually did stop a bully from beating up my brother as an 8 year old. The kid in question had him in a scissor-lock, and girly me had a jar of bubble-goop and a wand. I blew bubbles in his face. The bully grabbed my ankle, and down I went, upending the entire thing right into his eyes. Chemical warfare at it's finest.
