I stopped off at the bookstore at lunch and picked up a fantastic book on the history of Dracula, complete with woodcut reproductions of Vlad Tepes. It's amazing what a new book can do for your mood sometimes.

I also found a small bracelet with labradorite stones that wasn't overly spendy.
(labradorite's a grey stone that flashes blue and gren when you hold it up to the light--a bit like tigereye.)

I love payday.
