A friend of mine wrote back this morning--he tends to disappear for a while and pop back up. It makes me appreciate the letters more, I think. (Its not passive agressive, just a lot going on.) Now that I'm older, I have a big fistful of far-flung friends who drop by the occasional e-mail from everywhere in the world. London, Thailand, Hokkaido, Uptown, Nordeast..(Okay, that's not far, you get the idea.) I'm always excited to see news of friends far away. and now, Jeez, I've got Livejournal, the biggest grab-bag of people in "furren" parts ever!!(Like California, a very foreign place to Minnesotans. Palm trees. *drool*
Sand. Sun. Earthquakes!) Ayway, I babble this morning. The sun is out!!I'm looking under the snow for the grass to pop up!!! Wheee!!

It's the first day of spring! The days get longer from here on out! w00t! And of course, I thought of you, because you're just the kind of person that might appreciate being reminded that the Minnesotan winter is coming to an official end, even if there still is six-foot tall piles of dirty snow everywhere.

Spring is here, spring is here; life is Skittles and life is beer!! Woohoo!!

And I would *love* to try such a thing...I can make a bunch of masks that go with her, and one more that hides her face. (It can come off, of course. Or maybe not,depending on how mysterious you want to be.)

Would you like to have tea at my place and sketch it out? Even tonight's good if you'd like, or whenever you get a little time. (Psst: Homemade chicken soup with rice and mushrooms, bebeh!)

Well, this spring my mother's coming, then there's you coming out in July..depends on my finances in a couple of months.:) (Maybe autumn would be lovely.
