hehee... I can relate... I've lived all my life in the Willamette Valley (read that near rainforests) and then one summer I lived in Eastern Oregon (read that high desert)... I was depressed because of the total climate change (among other things)..

when I lived on the east side, I discovered some good things about it... they have the most incredibly wonderfully wicked heat thunderstorms over there!!! The Valley rarely gets any thunderstorms... but man did I EVER miss the rain and the green...
