It may rain again tonight at Rock the Garden. I'm attending with friends, even though these days I dodge a lot of the work-related shindys. Too much like still being at work, you know how it is. this should be okay though.

I had something silly to write right in here, but I think I lost it. Maybe it'll come back, and I can sneak it in. It was another "Today in history" moment. Arrrgh...something about Ghengis Khan trying out his first Speedo and the aftermath of the wedgie it gave him....

Oddly, Ghengis' brother did sculpture.

It's a little known historical fact, but apparently he tried his hand at it.

Unfortunately, some of his work broke after people took it home and Ghengis' brother had to leave the country. They thought they'd been gypped.

For the rest of his days he had to live down his reputation as a Khan artist.
