I didn't bring a lunch today...

...didn't have to--Admin had bagels, two going away parties had fruit-tarts, and a third had juice.

I think I'm going to make real food when I get home...Naaaah. Tomato soup with basil and garlic and a grilled cheese sandwich, I think. (That's real food, isn't it? Back me up on this one, willya?)

I also played peek-a-boo with a coworker's baby...he giggled. A lot. Cute cute cute. It makes me think of my nephews, though, and I sober up just a bit. I wish my brother wasn't such a hardheaded jerk...(and if you're reading this, little brother--I love you as only a sib can, but you really are a hardheaded jerk. I know this isn't news or anything....)

I have a mix of the grumbles, cramps, sneezes, and a tiny self-pitying case of the lonelies. It will go away...probably after I eat something sensible.

Of course it's real food - bread, milk, and vegetable groups. My plan is to have a grilled cheese and egg sandwich tonight (bread, milk & protein).

That's good to have the day off to get vacay prep done, etc.

If you're running behind on pre-trip packing, etc. I won't be hurt if it doesn't happen, esp/ if you have to fly out early Thursday.

Re: Fitting in the luggage... I just downsized to a carry-on suitcase with wheels, so I don't have to wait for luggage every time I go out of town for 2-3 days. I tend to overstuff, and realize that I always take 15 pounds more schtuff than I need... I won't be able to check e-mail, so call me cell in the AM tomorrow...
