Some happy news from down under...

My old SCA buddy Stig checked in this morning to say that he's fine, so's the lady and kid-to-be. I have to admit, when I read about the blasts in Bali I hoped like crazy they weren't on vacation or something over there....*shudder*

Today's gonna be a madhouse at work...but tonight I'm off to sushi. Mmmmmm, wasaaaaaaabi....

I might not check in much today, but I'll peek if I get a minute.

yeah...I feel it too. Never let anyone tell you artists are lazy; we work day jobs to feed the art-supplies addiction, and then work at night on our own stuff or custom jobs or whatnot...and make less than $3000 a year on our stuff. (that's the National average of what an artist makes in this country.)

We're nuts, I know it. I'm nuts. I keep seeing all my friends in computers wax fat and grow rich, and I'm barely getting by. But I can't stop. I don't want to stop. that's the addiction definition, isn't it?

They're cute--marshmallows in the shape of chicks, with colored sugar over them. People do horrible horrible things to marshmallow peeps, and you can get really sick if you eat a great many of them...
