The Eastern sun...

...Washes color over the condos out my window. It always alarms me for a minute since I'm used to seeing the sun from the West when I'm home.

Sushi last night was fun and tasty, but I banged the hell out of that knee of mine again getting out of a car. It's not bad, just a scrape. I didn't do anything cool to deserve it either like skateboarding or rock-climbing or whatnot, just stumbling and whacking a piece of concrete. D'ohhhhhhh....

Construction's still going on at work; I can here it from here. there's only so many time you can sing the anvil chorus to the piledriver...:P

Dammit, I am such an idiot.

I think the last few steps of this particular waltz are: I call next week, leave a message or speak briefly on the phone to say hi, guy acts awkward and distant. I make my excuses and never call again, and that's all there is.

No discussion, one kiss goodnight, but the body language was different. this happened the last time we tried this 5 years ago, the exact same pattern.

I should be grateful, at least he wasn't mean about it. A lot of people are. And maybe I'm jumping to a conclusion, but my gut says get ready to say buh-bye.

I can't say I'm not disappointed though.:((((((

The galling thing was, no speech, just that he was busy this weekend and was was going rock-climbing with this girl he hadn't seen in a while. So I can't really know if it's all up until I call later this week and ask about it in a way that doesn't make him feel cornered.
