Snowing...Argggghhhh.....
Oct. 16th, 2002 07:25 pmYou all missed the freestyle 40-yard screeching hissy-fit I threw when the White Stuff started falling from the sky. Ahhh, winter....too bad Fall really hasn't gotten a toehold:P
I think I may be coming down with the workplace cold. I sound like Kim Carnes. "shee's got Tammy Baker eyeeees..."
What, that's not one of hers?
It's nice being inside, drinking soup and listening to Rasputina as mixed by Marilyn Manson. I'm not fond of covers generally, but he did a kick-ass "Tainted Love" I have to admit....

Date: 2002-10-16 05:38 pm (UTC)While it's certainly too early for this stuff to stick around for long, it was fun to watch big fat snowflakes dropping down out of the sky like little jewels.
I'm gonna get grumpy at the writers for Enterprise if Porthos doesn't recover fully.

I still bitched those clouds out. *shakes fist*
And who is Porthos? Part of the Honor Harrington series?
Re: wonderland..
Date: 2002-10-16 06:49 pm (UTC)I was beginning to wonder if the writer's had decided Porthos was wearing a red collar or something.
Thankfully they decided Porthos would survive with a transplanted pituitary gland from one of the Doctor's critters.
Re: wonderland..
(I haven't been watching the show much, obviously:) It just seemed so damn hokey the first couple of shows I saw. maybe it's gotten better?)
Beagles are always good tv...
beagles..
Date: 2002-10-16 07:01 pm (UTC)And on the Weber front.. I finished off the latest installment of the Honor Harrington series around 2 am Sunday.
Then I ripped through Lackey's Exile's Honor Monday and Tuesday.
I really have to slow down.. now I have to wait for who knows how long for the next book from one of my favorite authors.
beagles, kitties, books...
Date: 2002-10-16 07:14 pm (UTC)And you go through books like I do...Let's see..I finished "Ghosts of the Titanic" by Charles Pellegrino again, and got back my copy of a Cynthia Heimel book, and cracked open a Harry Potter book since they're pretty soothing right before bed:)
Re: beagles, kitties, books...
