What did you do with your extra hour?
Oct. 27th, 2002 04:10 pmI napped:)
Last night was loud but fun....All the Pretty Horses were fantastic as usual.I dressed as the Fairy Goth-Mother, with tiara and magic wand and enough glitter for an army. (Could you imagine that army? Oog, I just imagined it, and it was a very John Waters-image. *laughs*)
What with one thing or another I didn't get to bed until late, so....
Did I waste my afternoon with napping?
Yes. Yes I did.
Later on I'm visiting Ben the neighbor and helping him brew some Halloween pumpkin-apple beer and watching goofy vids. And tomorrow...I'll get to get some painting done! (Okay, started:P) I have new brushes and everything. *hands start itching for those brushes...later, laterrrrr,...)
Happy Daylight Savings!

Date: 2002-10-27 03:37 pm (UTC)Then I sat and listened to the radio, cursing myself for not daring to go back to sleep, knowing that if I did, I would never wake in time for work again ...
Re:
Date: 2002-10-27 06:10 pm (UTC)(Yes I will finish the story soon...but not tonight.)
Ah yes, that horrible being-awake-when-you-HAVE-to-sleep-sensation. I hate that too.:( Poor Phill!!!
(I could rub it in that I don't have to go to work tomorrow...Naaah, I've got plenty of time to do that!!!)

Date: 2002-10-28 04:58 pm (UTC)You know, flying monkeys actually sound better thank British Airways - how much do they charge for a trip to St Paul's/any Minneapolis airport? :)
Re:
Date: 2002-10-28 05:07 pm (UTC)Dangit, they just giggle and say "the keys to the Banana Plantation, Mister!"
(Looks like international fees are dropping quite a bit this season, though, with other airlines...If you happen to end up in our fair cities, I can lend you my small-but-comfy couch!! I'm sure Ms Phiggy and I can show you the sights, and buy you beers and take you dancing and whatnot:)

Date: 2002-11-02 04:30 pm (UTC)It's a very nice napping couch. (though you seem a mite taller than my 5'4 self, so you might have to scrunch up or something.)
As for the airline hammocks...I suspect their supplier is the same guy that has those super-comfy hammocks at the Rennaisance Festival I keep wanting to buy but have nothing to attach them to..or maybe they macrame them themselves with spare yarn?
(Did I mention it was very cool to bother you over the phone this morning? Hope we made your morning more interesting!!)
