Once upon a time, I worked at a restaurant called "Mars 2112." It was supposed to be a eatery located on the planet Mars, complete with a space ride to the planet on a saucer shaped vehicle. I played Captain Orion, the leader of the Martian squadron, bedecked in aqua spandex and a green head with big red eyes. I would wander through the restaurant, never speaking, only gesturing with my long green fingers and posing for photos with the patrons.
One day, there was a great commotion, and I was called to go to a specific table by not just one but three servers and a manager. Yep, sure enough it was David Hasselhoff and his wife and two children. He was delighted to see me, and took a bunch of photos of the captain with his equally delighted kids.
I've got lots of stories... which would you like first?
oh, and so you know, I think that fairies once were, but are not now... possibly the same with bigfeets and I'm totally riding the fence on the crop circle thing... i could totally go either way on that one...
i've been the medium for waaay too many scary ouija board experiences. s'truth. i have an uncanny knack of picking up on vibes too. especially if they're "funk" vibes. :D
Now that I think of it, my work is full of unpleasant vibes in many corners. (Now where I work so much, but I go out of my way to de-funk it when I'm there. I'll have to defunk it againn when I get back...*memo to myself--bring cinnamon incense when you go back to work*)
de-funk-ti-fy. yes. i see that. what with the Gay Mafia and the crazy artists all over that place. i have to say, i love artists, but we can be an emotionally weird bunch, can't we?
It's not the artists that make the funk....some of it's leftovers from older bad vibes, some of it's ongoing in certain departments, and some of it I'm not really sure where it came from.
I bet the Guthrie's going to see more of their resident usher-ghost, Richard Miller. Renovations and whatnot tend to stir up resident ghosts, I'm told. Remind me to leave some flowers out for him this year, willya?

Even after they left, the staff was buzzing!
