Once again, I had that fabulous weekly holiday....

Machines churning!!! Powdered soap everywhere!!! Big black dust-bunny-sized lint!!! Wrassling the neighbors for dryer rights!!! Seeing how far my alice-in-wonderland-tights can shoot across the laundryroom!!!!

Alll the undies were Kung-fu fightiiing--Huah!!!

Heehee...

I'm in nice clean dragon pajamas.:)

And I had a weird moment over the phone today with a friend...I was eating dinner, and described the baked potato with steak and sauteed mushrooms and coriander I made, and He said,
"Hmm, you know--Naaah, you'll smack me if I say it."
"What?"
"nonono, you'll smack me if I say it, really!"
"Aww, come on!"
"No!"
"Please?"
"You'll smack me really hard!!"
"It can't be that bad!"
"yes it is...really."
"If you don't tell me, I'll kill you with a fork."
"Okay..*heavy sigh*....someday you'll make someone a nice little wife......"

*sputtering noises*
"Nononooooooooo, wrong wrong WRONG!!!! With my glitter problem, I'll make someone a nice little Drag Queen someday, so there! And you're right--I AM going to smack you. Why you little...."

Just a regular night at Fledermansion, I tell ya....

Well, after 12 years of performing in RHPS casts, I know that I can do my own make-up. Amongst all of the costumes that I own (including a mariachi band member and a full clown outfit), I do own my own velvet dress. And, if we get bored, we can sit around and read comic books all day and night while we watch your laundry spin dry. ; )

I'd probably end up a demented Doris Day picking people off with the Salad Shooter...

Granted, I am good at all the domestic stuff girls have been supposed to be good at for a long time. I always get a little uncomfortable at the assumption that these skills are best used for someone else. (Not that I'm not nurturing..I like to nurture people; it makes me very happy sometimes. I just like reciprocation, too.)
