The crows are back...

I can hear a large murder of them cawing and gabbling greetings to each other this morning. I'm glad to see them. Sometimes you can catch them playing games with each other or doing daring barrel-rolls to show off. I like their intelligence and their sense of humor. Did you guys ever see that Discovery Channel thing where some of the crows went sliding down snowy hills on their backs, just for fun? And then they'd get up and do it again? I'm hoping to see them do it sometime; we've got some good sledding hills not far away...

I don't wanna go to work today...the Pit is getting bigger and bigger and closer and closer to the building I work in. the plans say Membership's gonna go down next, sometime early next year. I'm getting moved (in theory) in March, to an office with a window! I saw the window!!! I won't get to keep it long-term but...a window!!!! Okay, so it's not worth putting up with all the other stuff. I've been thinking of getting a second job so i can afford a bigger space, buy a car, that sort of thing:P But on what time? I'm already exhausted from this job. And already I'm finding it harder to get time to paint and make things.

.....Just got the grumbles, never mind me:) I reaaaaally don't want to go to work this morning. But I'm brave, I won't let them squish me like a bug.
Never mind they have all the bulldozers....

Yeah...Work just gets harder and harder when you know there's lots of shit to come back to and vey few cheerleaders.

It's not all bad. I have someone sneaking me the occasional candy still:)

I've been thinking of doing something similar to what you're talking about. To get my finances back to a good state, I've been thinking about getting a part time night job along with a regular full time job for one year. During that time, I would hoard all of the money that I would make (except for paying down my credit card bill) so that, by the end of the year, I would have a nice financial base set up.

yeah, that's kind of the plan...

Pity it takes two jobs to do that, huh? Wish I could make a go of things working one job, but it's getting harder and harder all the time. And nobody's buying much art this year. (Granted I'm not marketing myself as much as I could be.) If I was careful about the money and got something else to add to this job I could have either a moving stake or a down payment on a house.

I keep leaving hopeful notes to the Fairy Goblin with a Big Bag of Money, but he just ignores me...*sob*

With the fact that I took a pay reduction in January of about $200 at my old work and then get even less from unemployment, I will need a little time to put the shambles that my personal finances are in right now. I'm willing to do the work if someone would just hire me...

Nearly all the crows in DC died this past summer. It's horrible :(

I heard. Damn West Nile. It's starting to pop up here, and I'm a bit afraid for my lovely crows. I hope they'll be okay. I hope the crows come back to D.C, get a chance to rebuild their numbers....I can't imagine not having them. Horrible indeed.:(

I'll leave out some bread or something for them tomorrow morning....it's a cold week to be a bird.
