I'm feeling a bit perkier than yesterday.

Maybe it was the huge amounts of potstickers I ate.
Maybe it was the Mongolian beef I had, chock-full of spices and vegetables.
Maybe it was the echinacea dissolved in water I drank before bed.
Maybe it was spending some quality time with the jewelry supplies and making a piece for myself; black and honey beads with an amber pendant and some red horm bits for accent.

Okay, I answer some from column A and some from column B:)

The trick is, will it last when I get to the Mines?
I hope so. The weeks before Xmas are always the busiest...

argh.
i need to use me my member discount card (for renewing my membership)...
wait! noooooo!! it's gone from my wallet!!
d'oh!!!
well, maybe it's somewheres else...
you know, i *still* haven't started getting gifts for folk.
i just asked my loan officer if i can still use other credit cards while i have this loan out, i don't have a copy of the other agreement they made me sign (for soem dumb reason...).
that will ultimately decide if people even get gifts...

Especially if we're working on the Rothko vein...everyone gets real depressed on that one:)

Heh, I run the mailroom for an art museum. Rothko was an abstract expressionist artist who fought depression and committed suicide in the 50's.

I make the jokes about the Mines because we have a 50-ft pit being dug for the new building , and it look ...well, like a mine!

I keep wishing we'd unearth an old civilization or something...*siiigh* What's the good of digging a hole to China if you don't find interesting things at the bottom? Sadly my job isn't glamorous, but I make connections with other artists and learn interesting things...

I like Rothko too, sometimes, but there are other artists i like better. We've got some *goood* Isami Noguchi pieces, for example:)

Fish preserved in lye, then reconstituted and served with potatoes and a white sauce...think fish jello. It tastes actually *worse* than it smells...which is awful.

I don't have to taste OR smell it....your description makes it sound awful, even!......*L*
