Workplace divination!!!

It's cheap, it's fun, and nothing's more exciting than using workplace tools to see into the future!

You will need:
At least 13 3x3 post-it notes
Scotch tape
1 clean dry coffee cup
1 pen or Sharpie marker
1 piece of paper.

Write on the post it on the very top something that could happen at your work--Some I've done are "Suprise" Busyness" "Slack" "Evil Plots" "Workplace love" "Money" etc. Roll up each post-it until you have a little tube with the words showing, then tape to keep it's shape. Make at least 13.

You will find they all fit into the clean coffee cup. Pile them all inside and shake them up a little.
Then on the paper, draw a circle and divide it into 4 quarters-"strong yes" "weak yes" Strong no" "weak no" Shake your 13 post-its, thinking of a workplace question, then take a handful with your eyes shut and toss them onto the paper. Any outside the circle shouldn't be counted.

So there you are:)

I wondered about the work environment from now on, since we've just come through some layoffs and other changes.

This was the result:
Strong Yes - New coworker
Weak Yes - Demotion

Laying half in the Strong No and half outside the cicle was Anger. Laying half in the Strong Yes and half outside the cicle was Slow Down. Do I count those?

Yes, but only half...Or the possibility, not realized. Use your budding intuition to tell you which. (Yes you do have it too, ma'am...just kind of leap on it around a corner and yell, "Which is it?" and write down your very first impulse:)
