I'm going to try to sneak out of here a little early so I can catch my building manager and make sure he got my message. Then I'm going to buy a lot of bleach and bug spray and attack my kitchen. And wash everything I own. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over...

Unclean!!!

Uncleaaaaaaan!!!

*twitch twitch*

No, really, it'll be okay...

Right now I'm hearing that sample "I am clean! I am clean!" from a Skinny Puppy song. :)

So far, so good.

Everything's in ziplocks, and the kitchen's been disinfected and sprayed, sprayed, sprayed. also all corners, doors, everything that looked like it could hide a roach.

I haven't seen any more signs of them..I probably drove them back to wherever they came from. and I did catch my manager.

&

Mix sugar and borax and put it on paper, behind drawers, under the sink, etc. They are attracted by the sugar and the borax kills them. Dont let cats or kids lick it, toxic!

you can do it Sigourney

Grrrr....Die, little leggy bastards, die!

though in my blitz of my kithen I didn't see a sign of any alien life. Makes me think people's hypothesis that a critter just went exploring might be what's happening.

Not that this means I'm not gonna scream my head off for fumigation.

Borax good... Leave twenty-mule team at door

The thing about roaches... For every one you find, someone else's apartment must have 100 (eewwww!, I know). We never knew our building had a mouse problem, becasue the late Kropotkin scared 'em into other apartments ;)

Yeah, I figured. If they're desperate enough to come into my empty kitchen, they deserve to starve and die...

Not that I've found any others after that one, but one is quite enough, I'm well aware. Grrr...KILL!!!

I wouldn't want to poison little Saturn with all the stuff I hosed the floor down with:)

Plus I'd never get him out of my feather bed.
