Dammit, I think I've been Norwalk-ed...
Jan. 5th, 2003 08:20 pmI was getting ready to go out with Redneckwitchboi, < a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/ruby_slippers">Ruby slippers, and Laura when I started feeling kind of growly in the stomach. Not hungery, just sort of sour. I went downstairs, and even with the peppermint tea ben thoughtfully provided it started turning into stomach cramps, and I threw up in his bathroom. I told everyone I'd raincheck them another time, went upstairs and tried to get some sleep.
I spent the next 8 hours throwing up. More or less every hour and a half, sometimes more. I kept trying to sip teas and warm water, but nothing stayed down until about 4 am.
Today I've been sleeping a lot, and drinking Gatorade and apple juice and alka-seltzer and ginger ale and anything else I can keep in my belly. If it is Norwalk, I should be better by Wednesday. Please please pleaaaaase....
Meanwhile, don't come too close, unless you're really brave or have already had it. *shiver shiver*

Sick
Oof.

My very healthy 75-year-old parents went on a cruise near the start of all the cruise ailments. My mom got what she thought was seasick for an afternoon. My dad was ok until their first night home, which he spent throwing up - for the first time in their entire 56-year marriage!
