1. Stay in bed and read American Gods.
2. Sleep until noon for no good reason.
3. Stay in bed and read American Gods.
4. Work on a new pouch, maybe try a recipie I found in a book.
5. Eat curry.
6. Rent Lord of the Rings and cheer on the good guys.
7. Stay in bed and read American Gods.
8. Try knitting a lumpy bookmark or something.
9. Stay in BED BED BED where it's cosy and read American Gods till I'm finished and fall asleep....
I mean, really, it's a great book.:)
And then a three-day-weekend, with a day to really think about the changes in our society and how much we still need to do. (Gee, Mr. Lott, thanks for the rather pointed reminder. And ditto Mr President. When I read that he was gunning for the U of Michigan and their so-called "Quota" my lips quietly formed 'Youuuu idiot" before I knew what I was doing.)
Happy Friday! It used to be a women's day, a day of freedom, Freya's day. Today it's the day we claw through if we're going to make it to Saturday. Hope it's an easy dig:)

So...how about this idea...you stay home in bed and read American Gods. I'll crawl back in my bed and finish reading Memoirs of a Geisha.

I really loved Memoirs. I should go buy it again--lent it off and never got it back a while ago.

Date: 2003-01-17 06:33 am (UTC)I don't think that I've slept in until noon since I had children. Even when I've been ill, I've had to wake up and then be allowed back to sleep.
Curry is *always* good. Yum. There's a sketch show here done by British Asians. They did a thing where they go for an English, and ask for the blandest thing on the menu.
