When Squids rule the Earth...

msfledermausI just got back from Ben the Neighbor's...He's been soldering this lovely black irridescent glass and making runestones with them. Fantastic! and fascinating to watch. Also Ben and his new boyfriend Pete and I were watching part of a tape he'd made from the Discovery channel or something about how lifeforms may evolve 10,50 or 200 million years from now. Apparently it's possible that someday squids may be the most intelligent lifeform on earth. We invented a new potential bumper sticker--"Save the Mammals--eat Sushi today!!!" It's pretty humbling stuff to see how things may go without the Glorious Reign of the Mostly-Nude-Monkey-people interfering. (Apparently in 5 million years we'll either be extinct or have gotten off-world. Cool. I vote for the offworld part.)
I've been noticing my on key for my keyboard is starting to stick and I have to hit it multiple times to start up the computer now. Time for me to see if the Mac guy at work might have a used one he can sell me, I think. Unless there's a way to fix it I don't know about? Any thoughts?
I also notice Hotmail's down...weird. So it may take me a while to get to my replies.
