I guess there's something wrong with the html in the quiz, or myabe the bit I typed in scewed it up:( It was messing up someone else's page. Answer hazy, try again later.....

I'm still Racheal though. Nyaaah.

Hey you, favour please? ... can you check the HTML code for that quiz result and see if there's a command not closed in it? It's totally hosed my friends page for every post after it. :(

I can try...I'm not that good at html, though:/

Maybe I should delete it instead?

Oh, I thought you did html coding. Well don't stress it. *hug*

I do a little...but not enough to reliably change some coding without very likely fucking up. *sheepish grin*

Plus I had to work very fast, as I was at work and get the hairy eyeball if I'm doing anything stress-relieving or interesting...so I thought it would be faster to delete the quiz than risking getting in trouble at work for trying to fix it or leaving it up allll day long to screw up all the pages:)

What should one look for to make sure it's closed? Or more importantly - how does one close it if it's still open?

When code is left open it's because someone failed to put the / command so if you open a link reference (with " here instead of < and > ) with "a href=www.whatever.com" you forget to close it with the "/a" afterwards. Or if you started italics you did the "i" but failed to do the "/i" at the end.

So when you take someone else's code from a quiz, sometimes they've forgotten the / command.

Hope this makes sense!

LOL -- well -- it did. Sort of :)

If I sent you the code, could you see if it's closed or not?

And how could I send it in such a way that it won't...um.. you know..... ACTIVATE or whatever you'd call active html?

Sure, if you want to email it to me that would be fine. just put a space between the < and the stuff following it ... i'll know to take the spaces back out that way, eh?
