Waifs and strays part deux...

Yesterday had strange fun bits to it. I had someone playing a practical joke sort of thing on another coworker involving a chirping toy bird that was motion-sensitive, an interoffice envelope, and me having to listen to it chirp trhough a gallery, the lobby, bookstore, and library...Tweet tweet tweeeettt!!!
I'm a-gonna make that coworker pay, oh yes I am!
Also I bought a new portfolio to put artwork in, took a nice long walk and was insulted by small rowdy children I'd never seen in my neighborhood before. It always puzzles and annoys me when kids start calling strangers names; I've always thought it was a really good way to come home bruised and bleeding. Not very Darwinian, you know? Not that I would hurt a child ever, but many strangers aren't *nearly* as nice as me.
I got in, made calls and dinner, had a --suprise--nice bubble bath, and Peter called asking if he could come up. He'd been working for someone all day and was going to suprise Ben when he got back from work. "I'm pulling a Fred, Ms Maus!" he giggled over the phone. Au contraire, he was much more pleasant to entertain, so I ensconced him on my tiny couch and force-fed him tea and made him watch Dame Darcy videos until Ben the Neighbor came home.
We also took pictures of artwork. If all goes well, there should be a nice link for me to share with you in a day or so. Woowoo!
Who looooves ya, bebeh?

Do you ever have a day off during the day?
As far as rude kids go, start carrying a machete.
