Ahhh, back to the workaday 9-to-5 hoohah...

At least for three days. I took time off:) May 1st and second. Yay meeeee!

Oh, but the next three days are going to be hard.

At least I finished a knitting project. (a purple throw pillow, I have to get stuffing now.) And I'm experimenting with knitting with beads. It's interesting, though I've already screwed up a few times and I need yarn that isn't quite as lumpy as this stuff. Memo to myself, hit Depth of Field and if you survive with the rent money make sure you got perling cotton. I also have some painting I want to finish at home.

And I did have some good news that never made it in here in all the swirling chaos
of the last 24 hours...I had a visit with my ex-boyfriend Peter. (Noo, not ben's Peter.) Peter and I always got along okay even after the breakup, so I'm always glad to see him, and I fed him tea in my living room and talked about his classes...and was just pleased to catch up. So that wasn't bad.
