I was gonna be a good Maus...

I was going to stay in, do some drawing, wash my dishes. Maybe start a watercolor and do some research before bed.

But first...I wanted to take some girlscout cookies to Ben the Neighbor and Pipa Pete.

So of course I ended up on the couch with a sketchbook, eating antipasta and watching "Ever After" which I hadn't seen...and cheering for Drew Barrymore and Leonardo Da Vinci. (Uhhhh....it was research. No really, see, there's this masked ball, and...)

I slept like hell, though. Mostly fretting about family stuff I can't do much about but is going to explode itself all over the place like a jelly-doughnut thrown by a catapult. I'll probably post about it soon, when I get what I want to say all sorted out. I was also bluesy because Cinderella stories are rough on single people, and I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

I thought that was a cute movie. And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has a couch that draws me to it :)

In college, I had an old, ugly, hand-me-down couch that was so comfortable that anyone who laid down on it fell asleep. My roommate and I decided the couch was cursed with a sleeping spell and anyone who fell asleep on it three times in a row would be transformed into a cushion. Many times one or the othe would walk to to see the other just waking up on the couch and say "It's good you came in just now! I would be turned into a cushion!" :)

I liked that movie a lot...leonardo Da Vinci's the fairy godfather!!! How lovely! *grins and laughs*

and I have a couch like that...and so does Ben the Neighbor. doesn't help he always has food and makes cocktails that make you light-headed on his comfy couch...evil, he'es evil....AND his boyfirend whoops up some killer dessert out of the blue to go with your light-headed cocktails, and there you are, snoozing on the couch and full of vodka and pound cake...
