I was drifting off to sleep last night with a sore arm from all the drawing I'd done, when I heard this wonderful tenor voice outside and down, singing some lovely Irish thing. Something about brown eyes--I didn't catch all the words, but the tune was really beautiful. Just as I was getting out of bed to go peek at the crooner the tune changed to a whistle as the singer strolled down the street.
It was all I could do not to tie a bunch of knitted scarves together and climb out my window to go chase this person with the wonderful voice down.
Yeeees, I could have used the elevator. But what fun is THAT?!!?
Between the singing stranger and the horse and carriages that go clip-clopping past my window in the summer, I really love my street lately:)
