Okay, that helps.
I'm still itchy. I need some of that aloe spray stuff that Ben the neighbor's got. Mmmm, sweet relief. I'm pretty lotioned up though. It's my own silly fault anyway, getting sunburned.

I finished the front for a tank top I'm knitting. I have to go get some more yarn. D'ohhhhh.... I only bought two skeins because I thought it was pretty.
And of course stubborn me thought later, "What a great top this would make."
Stubborn, stubborn Maus. Stubborn, stubborn, obsessive-compulsive Maus...

I also got an email from Barbara, Jen's friend at Llewelyn. Thumbs up on one drawing in particular, and she's showing it to her director...today! I might hear back tomorrow or Friday what *they* think. Think happy thoughts for me, willya?

I hope so..I did a couple of readings that all threw me the Wheel of fortune, upright and reversed...the question's in other people's hands right now, and they haven't made up their mind. There might be a curve ball involved somewhere. I'm just trying to enjoy the drawings and try not to be too disappointed if they say no.

knit top

I'm trying to think just what kind of knit top it is. Knit like a sweater seems warm for now. However, yesterday I was walking in the mall and I saw a top that was very loosely knit--to wear over a swim suit or tank top. I thought "Maybe that's what Ms Maus is making". So now I have to check it out and see.

You know, that sounds kinda nice...maybe I'll try one of those this summer with some really light yarn I've got.

I'm only half done with my sleeveless top--there's not much to it, since it's my first real garment. I really tried to go for the easiest thing I could do.

(I tried to answer this one before but kept getting someone on the phone...so I might have answered this already, or it didn't make it. d'ohhhh...)
