Wearing: Green skirt, light black shirt, white socks.
Eating: Strawberries and a peach.
Drinking: Water.
Reading: a Yarn catalog.
Thinking: of a drawing I want to finish this weekend, the scarf I finished beading last night, and a new one the directions tricked me into making with a cool lace pattern. I'm getting paid to do the beaded scarf--my first knitted-thing sale.
*blush*
Pondering: My yarn-obsession lately. Yes, it's probably unhealthy, yes I'm sublimating other passions for it right now.
Don't care. Don't care. Don't care....*grins a little crazily*
Needing: to buy some lunch, to get a gift for someone, to get ready for work.
Wanting: to ask a cute coworker out for coffee...probably not a good idea.
At least we're in different departments and we flirt a bit when we run into each other. If I make the request funny enough it won't hurt if he says no. I may chicken and run, too. Bok bok bok...
So there you are...

Date: 2003-06-06 10:56 am (UTC)I've tried badgering you to go ahead with this before. I don't know if this is the same cutie or if I actually badgered you into seeing someone who turned out to be never-call-you-back guy. If it was NCYBG, I apologise, but draw your attention to the small print at the bottom of the badgering where it says "don't take this date too seriously, as he's almost certainly too worthless to even call you." See? I warned you.
OK, I'll 'fess up. I'm badgering you into asking out men so I get to hear the stories afterwards. ;~)

And I recently watched a Sabrina episode where one of the aunts became bewitched by a "must knit" spell. Think you got it too?
Re:

Hmmm...could be, could be...it certainly seems like it. I suspect my lovely birch needles. I'd de-hex them if I could put them down...

Re:

Date: 2003-06-08 12:13 pm (UTC)There's that...I'm kind of busy anyway these days.
all of a sudden people want me to knit them things and are waving money at me, and I still have some drawings to finish.
But this guy's so funny and nice...he thinks it's cool I knit, even. Now if only I can get him away from his coworkers for a minute. *why* is it whenever you want to ask someone out there's a crowd of people around them? *grumble grumble*

Are you sure? A man who thinks knitting is cool, or a desperate man who's not been getting any for ages? ;~)

Not that I've had the opportunity to ask...and i'm losing my nerve again. Maybe next time (if there is one) that he's all flirty, I can feel less awkward about asking.
