msfledermausI've been spending the weekend being domestic, cleaning and cooking and knitting and sketching...and watching movies. Including a Mystery Science Theatre 3000 movie I must have missed somehow, because how could I ever have forgotten...EEGAH!!!
It's about a caveman named...well, Eegah, and his attempts to woo a 50's Priscilla-Presley lookalike from her squish-faced dune-buggy-driving boyfriend. Eegah, played by Jaws from the Roger Moore Bond films, gives a stellar performance. (And lemme tell ya, he was a hottie back in the days of b-movies and the Monkees. Hootchie Mama!) Anyway, I think I lost me a fistful of brain cells on that movie...Ooooh, the exquisite paiiin...
Yeaaah, I'm productive, bebeh. I can multishirk with the best of them...Right now I'm typing this, eating a sandwich, listening to "Milk and Kisses" by the Cocteau Twins and reading "Courtney Crumrin and the Coven of Mystics". I bet I could chew gum at the same time. I can't prove it though, since I almost never buy gum...
I think I need to watch "Eegah" again here in a minute. Yes, my dating life has become so pitiful and bizarre that I find a hulking caveman carrying a club, a delicate-pink-purse and some flowers attractive. I should go rent "Fellowship of the Ring" again and drool at the elf-boys; I'm sure that would snap me out of this.
