Where's the damn rain, hah?

...the Weather guys promised us some kind of rain today and tomorrow, or even a little lat night. I saw lightning flickers from far away while I was on the roof last night,
but no rain. I'm tempted to try my version of a rain-dance, but the last time I did that...well, it wasn't pretty. Took ages to clean up all those flaming marshmallow peeps.

I had one of those dreams that seems so very real right before I woke up this morning.
It was really lovely and snoogly, but it was work-related. I gotta stop going to work in my dreams. Memo to myself: Stop going to work in your dreams. Go to Tahiti. Repeat: go to Tahiti. My work just seems to have swallowed my head lately. I'll just have to whack it repeatedly with a stick and try to make it let go...

Oh, good news for the Contest Winners from QScraggit--the box has arrived! Qwll, sort of. The Fed Ex guy's trying to catch me, so I'm going home for lunch to see if I can tackle the guy, grab my box and haul it upstairs to find and send off your prizes.
I'll keep you posted, I promise. *rubs hands gleefully*

Huh, it's getting a littke dark outside....someone go get the marshmallow peeps!!!

It was still dripping this morning when I got up.... unfortunately, thanks to advil, I heard nothing!
