I've always liked the whole concept of labor day...the day when everyone gets a break.
Ahhhh...
*sips peppermint iced tea in front of nice warm computer*

The Tentacular thingy has now been moved to it's new home in Ben the Neighbor's abode.
It's actually a tropical pitcher plant--you know, one of the carnivorous ones? I was always a little afraid it might get the munchies in the dead of night while I was babysitting it. Anyway, no attempts on a Maus were made, and it has a name...I bet you were guessing Ben named it Audrey, after Little Shop of Horrors? Well...close. Audrey was already taken by a fierce-looking orchid. So it's *drum roll* Tawdrey.
*laughs into tea and spills it all over*

Yeaah, I feel a little better:) Pep-talks do that for me...
Ah luv yew guys...

He could have called it Audrey II, which was the plant's actual name...

... but that just makes me sound like a movie geek, doesn't it?

Nothing wrong with geekage...

I'm sure Ben would have, but the orchid's name is Audrey 2, too:) Everyone's agreed we must all watch it again together.

*memo to myself--run out and rent that movie again at first opportunity!*

hey, never be ashamed of the movie geekage...so says the girl who's got a signed copy of the Forbidden Zone on back-order:)

It's not such a big thing to not have a DVD player but I would definately recommend getting one. There are so many movies getting released on the format these days that it's really cool. Also, there are supplements on all these disks, from just trailers to special documentaries, that a film geek like me loves.
