...I did venture out in the hot this weekend--I went to the Renaissance Festival with Daifu, which was kinda cool..I got to go into the hobbit house for the first time ever, and walked through the Enchanted Forest, full of sweet little goofy fairy houses:) Sadly, I didn't sell Daifu to the Stocks...although I wanted to. It was tremendously hot out that day, though...usually I blow all my money on glitter and strange finger foods at the Fest, but this year we both blew all our cash on bottles of water. And when I got home I had an hour-long cold bath to get out al the Ren Fest dust. Hot!!! Too much hot!!!

Heh, guess what I rented last night? Mystery Science Theatre's "Pod People"...Nuthin' to do with pods, nuthin' to do with people, everything to do with brain-squirming agony....I haven't seen it for ages, but I've got a hot date with bad Czech dubbing when I get home from work today...
"What do you like, Trumpy?"
"Food. Eating. The theatre..."

*chortle*

And I'll have lots and lots and lots of ice water:)

I spent the month of May in Phoenix one year. Most days the temp was about 116F. Some people said "but it's a dry heat". My thought was it was a HOT heat! I soaked in the outdoor pool every evening at dusk to get the heat out of my body. More effective than an air conditioned room.

Oh no, not Trumpy! I dared to fall asleep on that one when my ex shared it with me. Yup, and of course I had to watch it all over again with him the next night!

If I had to choose now, I think I'd rather watch Mitchell hehehee.

Oh, my. That brings back memories of my years at Ren-Fest!! When I still lived there. I started out painting faces, fell in with the Flying K Brothers, had tons of good times...*sigh* ( My bro built musical instruments and had a music tent there.) I met a tightrope walking mime who later went on to star as the Jewel of the Nile. The Flying K's became famous, and were cast in that movie as well. Do the players still have huge pig-roasts after hours, and gather for wild drunken music making in the wee after-hours?? You really need to experience the behind-the-scenes magic as well. I hope you had fun!!!
