It's really lovely out, kind of cold and blustry.
Theres an extra blanket on my bed that was packed away for months.
I had a hot bath with a heart-shaped rose bath bomb in the hottest water I could stand...and it felt terrific.
It's cool enough to wear the sweater I knitted...and it fits and everything!!!
I can sit for hours and paint and not feel frustrated and sweaty.

I. Love. Fall.

Happy Fall Equinox... Happy Mabon!
(Celtic holidays start the night before, so even though Fall Equinox is tomorrow, Mabon starts tonight.)

And to celebrate, here's a fun fact; Minnesota is one of the greatest apple-producing states in the U.S...but nearly none of the apples leave it's borders. Yes, we eat them all ourselves...

*Munch munch*
*Hides munched apple behind back*
Whuh? I've nod doig nuthig...
*tries to chew discretely*

Mmmm apples....I had an apple for lunch and applesauce for dinner.

I really like that sweater you knit. It's looks so cozy and beautiful on you. :)

I should have come over for dinner; i love applesauce!

Awww, shucks, ma'am...*blushes* It probably helped I kept holding it up to various chest and body bits to make sure the measurements fit okay.
Someday I'll have to make a sweate for someone else and I'll get really nervous:)

Happy Fall to you too... I love this season. We were just easing into it here when the hurricane passed by and made everything humid but... it'll come back.

Enjoy it!

I will...And I hope the hurricane only made things humid.
Shoo shoo, humidity!!

What an interesting fact. Where did you learn that?
Is there a chart--or site--somewhere that tells the kinds of apples and whether they're consumed locally or sold across the US? How about the UK?

And I'd also like to know which kinds are grown where. You see--it doesn't take much to amuse me.
Just wave an odd fact in front of me and I'm off and running. Of course, I COULD try Google. Tomorrow--when I've finished my morning appointment.

I remember being told that by a couple of local apple farmers when I was buying a bag. I'm sure there must be a chart somewhere, but i haven't a clue where to start. I think Minnesota's supposed to be 5th in the nation for apples.

I love fall, too. It was always my fav in Minnesota, with the leaves on fire, and an October birthday, and the anticipation of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas(or Solstice).
MMMMMMM MMMMMM...apples. I'm so jealous. I'm on atkins right now, I can't wait to bite into an apple again!

I'll eat a bunch of them for you, ma'am:)

Minnesota has an awesome fall, that's for sure. Even when I lived in Montana, I craved Minnesotan autumns.
