Now we've gone from a nation with some pretty dubious choices and behavior to a country that just went right around the freakin' bend...Schwartzenegger got elected. Schwartzenegger.

*shakes head a little painfully*
It's a Republican masterpiece--they get to blame someone else for the energy mess they made, and Schwartzenegger wins his vanity campaign. And of course any resulting disaster will get blamed on Davis and anybody else they can think of. Meanwhile, now that they flat-out-know they can blatantly derail the democratic process with enough cash...they're not gonna stop. (Well, they knew that before, but this is getting ridiculous...)

I'm a little rough anyway this morning..Jen's boss, who had sabotaged everyone in sight for as long as she's had the job, got fired at last yesterday. We were celebrating a little karmic justice with a Hunter Thompson cd and a drink. The last thing I needed to hear when I turned on MPR was Schwartzenegger winning.

oooog.....

Out of this lot, I've heard the 'New York Works' one, and the 'Korea: The Unfinished War' one. I think we're getting kind of a 'best of'.

Prince? That self-obsessed Jehovah's Witnessin' woman-baitin'
solipsistic stacked-heeled-fan-trashin' so-and-so?

Now Garrison Keeler; HE"D make zn interesting Minnesotan governor. Or more realitically...Wellstone:(((( We sure could have used Wellstone these days. I miss the guy.

Funny, though... CA is so liberal, they get Arnold as their Republican candidate. Anti-woman, pro-choice. Strange.

I think Arnold will say anything anybody wants to hear...yes, and no, and maybe. then he'll probably do what all the other Republicans are doing, so he doesn't lose his political pals.

Ahem*
(In best Hans and Franz voice:)

Listen to me now and believe me later, That Awwwwnold is nothing. He is a little girly man!

I cant help but to think of ole Hans n Franz every time I see him on television. However, he is not as republican as his party endorsement claims.

It will be interesting to see if he gets reelected, as I fear that no canidate, no person could fix whats going on in that oppressive state by the time January and the budget proposal comes around.

It could be the end of his career. Which is a shame, since his gig as an actor died a l-o-n-g time ago. :)

Did ya ever have the feeling that this country keeps going on but in reality everything is becoming unraveled...slowly before our eyes?

These same GOP whiners who whine about the California economy haven't even offered a whimper over our national economy and wait....should we maybe recall Bush for his mishandling of our economy, let alone the mishandling of everything else???? Nahhhh....that doesn't matter...

I hear a HUGE sucking sound....it's the brains being sucked out of the American people's heads.

Yeah...I keep reading about Weimar germany (Pre-Nazi takeover) and the French revolution, and seeing too many damn parallels.

I can't help but feel we're being dragged deeper and deeper into darkness.

He's not doing; he' s done. Tim *shudder* Pawlenty's our governer now. But yeah, Jesse became famous fast for being a grandstanding jerk.

Tim Pawlenty a quieter, sneakier jerk..and we're in no better shape than we were under Ventura.:(

i could get extremely depressed about it. instead i've decided to be thankful that i no longer reside in california, and also hopeful that arnold will now be so busy he'll have no time to continue to make really horrible movies.

I suppose we shold be grateful for that, anyway...butJesse still did stuff when he was our governor, so politics probably won't stop Ah-nold, either...
