I was stretching out a little and a couple of muscles in my lower neck on the right tensed up, nice and stiff. D'ohhhhhhh....

At least I have my happy Halloween Trolls peering out cheerfully from on top of my tv, thanks to Bingman One is a Specter of Death troll with orange hair, (Named "Bob" now) and one is a Bela Lugosi Dracula troll. (His name is"Mr. Bitey".) Thank you, Bingman and Family!!!

*crick*

Arrgh! Neck! Neck!!! Where's my *&^% tiger Balm??

Glad to hear "Bob" and "Mr Bitey" (love the names btw :)) made it to you safely and have a nice home. :)

*hands Maus an icepack and a heating pad*

Say...you don't have any tiny fang marks in your achey, cricky neck, do you? I remember this one Twilight Zone episode....

*Looks suspiciously at Mr Bitey, who just smiles*

I do think I found out the reason--I've picked up a cold. *snifle* Whaaa....

Ah, poor Mausi! Hope you can take a sick day.

*Dons white germ free suit with respirater*

*Puts out plate of toast, tall glass of orange juice, assorted cough drops and extra soft tissues (none of those cheap sandpaper jobs for fledermaus' snoz)*

*Throws a warm comforter and a couple of fluffy pillows on the couch*

Hope you feel better soon.

*Quietly leaves. Takes off suit and quickly places it in biohazard bag for proper disposal*

Good for you! The ole salt mine can make due for one Maus-free day.

I'm sure your co-workers pitched in and performed most of your duties, so upon your return, your work area will be pristine and clear of multiple stacks of work. They'll probably have a new found respect and appreciation for you, too. (if your work is anything like mine you will appreciate the sarcasim. :))

*picks up crumb filled plate and juice glass and brings them to kitchen*

*kicks wadded up tissues that are strewn about the floor into a nice neat pile for later disposal - a pretty impressive pile at that*

*looks for some Fantastic to clean shoes - eewww*

*grins at your sarcastic description*

More like: When I get back, the one person that was able to cover for me will be my sullen, drama-jerk cow irker who left me a pile of stuff that was supposed to go out yesterday, lost or misdirected the check for the postal meter, told the intern I was helping to go fuck himself and/or scared the crap out of him, and left tons of stuff for me to clean up under pain of The Look from H. R.

I need a Valium smoothie before I go back to work. *whimper*

Yikes!!!
That sounds very similar to my situation. :)
I am taking tomorrow off and am already dreading what I am going to return to on Weds. : /
Good luck, Missy. Better make that smoothie a double.
