The sirens went off again last night.

...and it thundered and hailed and got very dark...
and then magically cleared up. Except for the puddles and the little metling snowballs, you'd never have guessed it was storming out only 10 minutes before. I love this state.

I did finish two dolls I've been working on, took their pictures with my polaroid, and packed them away along with the new diorama I made for the ciritique tonight. (It's a GOOD one!!) I'm getting a tax number this month for sure, and saving my receipts like a good girl...I love the dolls so much; I feel so lucky that they're recieved so well..*gibber, blush*

And the secret project didn't get off the ground because I couldn't contact the would-be recipient...Well, these things happen. D'ohhhhh.

MS eff, putting a mount on the Gallery of Forgotten Dreams diorama so it can go on the wall tonight...*fiddle fiddle..glue glue.*

Well, I know my friend Cyn's got one scanned in as an icon...if you type "Cynnerth" into the LJ search engine and peek at her pics, the pink fairy with the white hair waving at you is one I made for her:) (I have to borrow a digital camera from a freind soonish and take *lots* of goddamn pictures, goddamn it..I want a fairy icon too!!!)

I do!!!*Grin* I have one with me today even!!! She's a vampire doll in a bodysuit and thigh-high boots and tiny fangs and a short-bob haircut...and tiny red-glass bead eyes!! And a quartz crystal for a heart that lights up when you hold her up to a lightbulb...(Boy did I have fun with that one, can you tell?) and a friend ordered a romantic gothy one I just finished....
(Get on that scanner, Gothy fairy-thing!!)
I'm going to try to scan some in today--I'm not sure where I'd post 'em, but I'll hunt around for a temporary site to hold the piccies.

Oh, definitely...(I was being kind of gleefully sarcastic about the horror that is making a new doll...I'm *Obsessed*..I even have new acid-cut velvet fabric for a Gothy dress for the new one.)
It's all I can do not to fake Ebola so I can get out of work and go home to play with clay and beads and such right now...

I know the feeling completely tho, it's been that way w/my bass lately. Just wanna go home and practice... altho, oddly, while I'm home, I don't think about it as much. Maybe I've practiced too much in my mind. teeheehee...

Not yet, but I talked to a friend of mine at work--I'll be taking a few of the dolls up to Design today and plonking them on the scanner:)
So far the only doll on the net is Fauna, the one I gave to my friend cyn...(In one of the above posts I've got instructions...I don't think she'll mind you peeking at her pics anyway--one icon is Cyn as Xena...Yiyiyiyiiyiyiyi!!!)

I wonder if the diorama would fit on the scanner, too? I'll try it:) (it's all dark and glittery, with windows showing shadowy forms and heiroglyphs in the background, and a ceramic skull sitting on the foreground...it turned out realy well.)

I do, and make copies on the copier...but the pics aren't great. I'm borrowing a digital cam from someone soon to take pics, and the ?Design guys say I can use their scanner if I'd like. (the Cyn method of fairy-trapping:)
