The whole point of the Solstice...

msfledermaus...Is to journey from darkness to light, both outer and inner.
I feel a lot better about things after 2 days of sitting and napping in the sun whenever possible. Work has been very hard lately, and the need to decompress was very high. I also goofed around Uptown with someone I hadn't seen in a while, and had a lovely time. (Okay, until I got dumped in the snowbank, but admittedly that was partly my fault. Only partly though. I was provoked, I was, and I stand by that. Someday I will have my revenge...)
But meanwhile, I will wrap presents. And do some doodling for a banner I've been asked to work on. I think it'll go okay, I just want to play with the inks awhile:)
And I will call the Island Neighbors to see if they're over the plague yet, poor things.
And later tonight, light some candles and think for awhile. Light in darkness, darkness in light....
