..You just have to use big needles. And not be doing anything too complicated.
Once again knitting is my Zen. I spent most of the New Year trying out a non-lumpy mitten pattern, and so far it's all smiles. (Though double pointed needles still make me feel like I'm wrestling a small hedgehog.) I can't type and do double points, though, so I have a pepperminty-pinkish and white angora scarf with some confetti yarn tossed in just for the hell of it. It's cute in an over-the-top kind of way...but I wouldn't have it any other way. And neither would you.
I've also been working on an art piece someone asked me to do for them.
Just for my own sake now, because it really turned out so far to be a nice piece.
Haven't a clue what to do with it when I'm done. I can stick it in one of my empty frames and plug the picture into my website, maybe.
*small sad shrug*
The Minimalsit Inferno calls...and then I have two more days off work. Mmmm, slack tastes goooooooood.... and I'm having cawfee after work with my pally-gurl, the notorious Emily. She sends me evil things in my e-mail...she is very very bad and naughty, and I love her like my long-lost sister. I fully expect to wake up tomorrow with the knowledge that I've done a mass-postering of something really crude involving christmas peeps and Santa after the Big Day. We're kinda like that when we get together.
so how's things?
