My coworker BabsMonkey's in intensive care with a kidney infection. Her boyfriend called me from New York to check on a package and asked me if I knew how she was. I didn't, and neither did the HR director until we talked to her boss.

Babs is one of my favorite coworkers. I really hope she'll be okay. I'm trying to see who can send something to her room....she can't have flowers, but she can have balloons and stuffed animals.

Poor Babsmonkey. I hope they take good care of her:((((((

That is the THIRD kidney infection I've heard about recently! I hope Babs recovers quickly. :(

It sounds like she had a reaction to her antibiotics. They plan to keep her for at least tomorrow, but in theory she should be out before Monday.

I always get nervous when I hear about people being in the hospital for kidney-stuff. A friend of mine just finished donating one of his to his ailing sister, and another friend fiance' long ago died of kidney malfunctions:( I'm just so glad she got herself to the hospital.
