...Mmmm, I knew working non-prof has it's bennies...
In fact, i even went to first Ave with friends for a much-needed night out. I ran into all kinds of people, including Mistress Medusa who looked ravishingly lovely, and Lakesha, who had us in stitches with her new cookies...I saw a handful of ex-coworkers including one at coat-check, (I got my stuff checked for free. Hehheh!) The Emil-Y running the video booth and Jen coming straight from a wedding in her 30's finest. Woowoo! I also ran into one of the Tandem Kiss-Army-Attempted-Booty-Call-guys with a new girlfriend in tow...it was all I could do not to yell, "Run, lady run! Save your ovaries before it's too late!" Sooo...I pointed and laughed instead, and they soon moved away from our table, which was what I wanted. I can be a mean Maus sometimes.
But it was great fun to jump up and down to the happy happy loudness...and not have to go to work in the morning, either. I had a luxurious nap this afternoon, and I'vebeen knitting and watching Lord of the Rings all day long. Slack slack slackityy slack!!!
*Psst...slack! Get your lazy freak on today!*

Which why we're like a month or 3 ahead of the game but still running on freak out mode. Are there still cartoons on Saturday morning? I wouldn't know.
