...Mmmm, I knew working non-prof has it's bennies...

In fact, i even went to first Ave with friends for a much-needed night out. I ran into all kinds of people, including Mistress Medusa who looked ravishingly lovely, and Lakesha, who had us in stitches with her new cookies...I saw a handful of ex-coworkers including one at coat-check, (I got my stuff checked for free. Hehheh!) The Emil-Y running the video booth and Jen coming straight from a wedding in her 30's finest. Woowoo! I also ran into one of the Tandem Kiss-Army-Attempted-Booty-Call-guys with a new girlfriend in tow...it was all I could do not to yell, "Run, lady run! Save your ovaries before it's too late!" Sooo...I pointed and laughed instead, and they soon moved away from our table, which was what I wanted. I can be a mean Maus sometimes.

But it was great fun to jump up and down to the happy happy loudness...and not have to go to work in the morning, either. I had a luxurious nap this afternoon, and I'vebeen knitting and watching Lord of the Rings all day long. Slack slack slackityy slack!!!

*Psst...slack! Get your lazy freak on today!*

Oh, you non-worky humans. :P

Cookies that make you laugh? Um, what was in them, exactly? ;)

It was Lakesha's eupheism for breast-padding:) thus the intense giggling.

I love Thirties style. I had a fave dress from grandma's attic from waaaaay back when. I wore it to death. Even barfoot every day kind of wearing.

Did you point and loudly say, "that's him! That's the guy I was telling you about!" and *then* laugh loudly?

Yes I did...and other people laughed too, since I told them the Kiss-Army story earlier since it was the event last year that started the whole thing:)

Maaan, revenge is better than christmas, I tell ya! I'm even writing down the story in a friend's 'zine, becuase it was the funniest thing she'd ever heard...

Hey Lady, any chance of a Tiki Party tomorrow? I'm taking a vacation day. I have to get some work done around the house and do my taxes, but I'd love to go wild inbetween.

I bet I could be pretty creative with my taxes after a few of those umbrella drinks!

That's pooptastic El Mausidore. You'll have to take to wearing a sword for protection, else some sort of weighted edged scarf for a whirlwind of doom attack.

Bosses are good at short sighted calm to freaked out 'The sky is falling' mode.

Which why we're like a month or 3 ahead of the game but still running on freak out mode. Are there still cartoons on Saturday morning? I wouldn't know.
