I have GOT to scan a family photo from around that same time. It has my mom, me, and my older sister in those glasses. Our chihuahua had good eyesight, so she was spared the humiliation of pointy glasses. I had to wear those things until 7th grade.

Who would have known I'd be cool if I had just hung on to them?! Actually, I think I still have them in a box somewhere...which I'm sure freekee isn't surprised about. He now knows that I save EVERYTHING.

It must have been pretty hard at the time to wear them, but maybe you can get new lenses for them...if they fit your head. (My old glasses from 9th grade still fit...barely:)

As for saving everything, Don't feel bad. I do, too. (Hey, I'm an *Artiste!*:) JUst tell Kev you're doing lots of "Found Object Art" and he'll roll his eyes and grin at you...
