Telephones are eeeeeeeevil....
Sep. 21st, 2004 08:30 am...I feel Daifu and the Emil-y were both using their psychic powers last night...they both called at the same time, juuuuust as I was dropping off to sleep, a little before 10. Sorry if I was crabby, guys, it's hard to get down from that hanging-from-the-ceiling Mausi-snooze position...
In Inferno news today: I'm expecting what is apparently a deranged little old lady or possibly a highly cunning con artist to call me again at work today...she's begging another cow irker and I to buy-buy-buy her office supplies; her husband's died of cancer, her children are in Palm Springs, She's a personal friend of our director and won't you please please please buy some packing tape? She called me 3 times yesterday, after I kept repeating: I'm very busy today, would she please try tomorrow, I need much more information before I can consider anything blah blah blah...It's the only fun I've been having so far this week at the Inferno. Oh, besides watching the Culligan Man lug gallons and gallons of bottled water to the main site because the water was shut off...and still may be...
Otherwise? Knitty knit knit. Doddle doodle doodle. The Queen Of Stuff and possibly Pipa Pete's dropping off a shelf-thing for me to put my new electronic booty in.( I know what you're thinking: Yarr!) The Emil-y and I have a Clay-date on Thursday night involving pie and some really horrible paper-clay she bought. If the clay doesn't work, maybe we can make sculptures from the pie. Mmmm, pie....What kind of pie would make a good sculpture? I say French silk's got it's merits...
