I've been very happy about the new case I've been gifted with. Ben the Neighbor and Pipa Pete and the Queen of Stuff deserved even more spring rolls than what I bought them...a truckful! A lakeful!! Wait--they'd get all soggy...

I've been plotting away at fall knitting projects, trying to figure out: a: what to make next, and b: what to do with various bits of my stash. It's relaxing and fun.

I've been sleeping heavily, no dreams I can remember... and waking up to some incredible sunsets.

I've been reading "Voodoo Dreams" a novel about the life of Marie Laveau, the New Orleans Voodoo Queen. It's incredibly sad, with these flashes of intense beauty.
I recommend it highly.

I've noticed that the posting format has changed....verrrry strange. Not sure if I like it or not.:/

I've read a couple of books directly and indirectly about Marie Laveau. She had a very sad life, but spent it using everything she could to her advantage. My little sister took a picture of her tomb on a nice sunny day. When they got the photos back, that particular one had a red sky. She was a little spooked. I thought it was really really cool.
