Last workday of the week for This Maus!!! Yeah, baby!!!!

...I've gotten tons of cards from all you lovely, lovely LJ folks out there...thank you so much!! Some of you are getting cards back...kinda late. (Sorry about the delay; it's running a mailroom near Xmas that will make everything you ever wanted to send late as hell. I've been heavily swamped and burned out all month; ask anybody.) Some are getting little boxes of something:) Late's better than never, huh? I'm very tempted to start a new tradition: Sending out stuff a Week Or So Late, called...uhhh...Queen Mausi's Day of Late Stuff In the Mail!!! Yeah, that's the ticket!!

I also have to face the Huge Mound of Black Laundry at home, and at least attempt to vacuum. The Maushaus needs some serious cleaning. I think that's my penance for taking time off this week: Catching up with the chores:) I kind of enjoy them, really...Okay, that's not entirely true but when I'm not about to drop from fatigue and have some time and just had some tea or something the whole thing isn't so bad...

Think what a treat that would be for people to get something after the rush. Besides, the 12th day of Christmas is Jan. 5 and there is some name for it, tho I forget what. Legend has it that that is when the wise men got there with their gifts.

Hahaha...I'm the same way...always working rightt up to the last minute...and lots of things end up late! I love the idea of a day that is on your own real time schedule!

Hey, how's the angora scarf wearing? I've got another friend asking for one, so I figured I should see if they just fluff away to nothing over time or if they wear okay:)

Great! yay! The scarf is fine...it doesn't beg, whine OR shed! I'd do a really loose weave, to give the fibers room to snuggle.

I still have another pressie for ya....*heee* but it may have to take it's Mausi-Minutes old time. I am swamped, I tell ya! (:
