I have an interview with the MIA at noon today...*grin*

And....jury duty! (D'ohhhhhhhhhh......)

The Emil-Y came over last night with a large turtle pie...she gave me a compilation of Wondermark.com cartoons and a Wondermark t-shirt...She is such a good monkey. I gave her the poncho I made, and she did not sneer, she did not laugh, she snoogled right into it with a contented sigh. WE caught up; I gave her all the gossip from the Inferno, and she was very pleased to hear that at last, at last, we may be coworkers again. We'll see how things go...

Good luck! I really enjoyed jury duty. Of course, I got paid and I finished up in less than a week. Still. I got to read, and take two hour lunches trying on clothes I could never afford at Saks. It was great!

Hmmm...maybe this will be a good thing...and maybe it won't take too long, either. At least I live pretty close, so getting there won't be a hardship or anything.

Yup, jury duty...huzzah!

We'll see how it goes--if I'm at the Inferno, they HAVE to give me time off and pay me. If I'm at the MIA, they said they can schedule around me no prob.

Maybe Jacko got a change of venue? I hope not. I've been called up twice. The first time the defendant was my insurance company, so the plaintiff's counsel struck me off the panel. The second time I got an extension until it was time to move outta town.
