Feb. 3rd, 2005 06:57 amI love hearing the crows over the park...I was watching them come down yesterday to wherever they were roosting, at least a couple of hundred at a time. Thye like my park, and when I go home they sit in the trees and caw and chuckle....it's very beautiful.
I went to my interview at lunch yesterday. It sounds like if I want it I've got the job. Official confirmation should be Friday sometime. It's a bit of a relief, but I won't start breathing easy again until it's a sure thing...
And I spent some time thinking that on some levels it's going to be sad to leave the Inferno. I've been there a long time. I've got history there. It's always been, er, warm....real warm...
And when I give notice all Hell's going to break loose, for sure.
It's helping just to take things in the small steps, to do one thing at a time. I usually try to do everythng at once, to get it done, to have it complete and get it out of my hair. Usually it's not the most sucessful strategy; especially for something that takes time and patience. heh, another lesson from the knitting world. You can't rush knitting, or it just turns into a snarl of evil yarny badness. One stitch at a time....
So there you are...
