I've got my appointment today...

...So I'm just killing a little time before I have to go get my mouth looked at. The Queen of Stuff introduced me to rinsing my mouth with Myrrh to help with pain, and that helps quite a bit. I don't know where I'd be without the friends I have, sometimes. I'm grateful more than I can say. (especially now, since I sound funny with this mouth thing...)

It seems so strange to not have to go into work today. And to plan to stick around home for next week,ready to bolt for the courthouse at a moment's notice. I think there's more than a little time to knit in my near-future. I've been working on Part 2 of an afghan to help myself relax beore my appointment. How did I ever get along without this? Maybe if things aren't too scary and heinous I can stop at Depth of Field on the way home and pick up a few skeins of something pretty to play with.
(I picked this clinic on purpose--so at least if I had to have someone beat on my teeth with little power tools I had the consolation of some soft, pretty yarn to look forward to.)

So that's the skinny...On my end, I'm drinking juice, with a Myrrh chaser...

Aren't you lucky to be able to call in and find out if they need you for jury duty! That's soooooooo much better than sitting on the uncomfy chairs and trying to find something interesting to do.
