H'lo, folks...

...I had this terrible dream last night I'm still trying to shake...something about helping my friends rehabilitate this house that had been owned by a couple of serial killers into a daycare center...Artistic serial killers who wrote and drew on every wall and door in vivid detail--really bad news, let me tell you. (I blame just being really tired and too much dinner, and leftover stress from yesterday.)
With a little luck tea and toast and sunlight will drive the dream back to wherever it came from...
*Gets out ginger candy to clean the palate of any Baku who comes to eat the dream...*
Yesterday I kinda dodged a bullet with the giving notice thing at the Inferno--my boss was at meetings at the other building the entire day, so I didin't have time to tell him face-to-face. So I wrote my letter, dated it, dated the envelope I put it in, stuck it on top of his mail and let his boss's assistant know what it was and why it was there. Bases covered. So any resulting hissy-fit should happen...this morning.
I think I'm ready for it, or as ready as I get. (Heh, helps I've been playing KMFDM all morning...right now I'm at "Urban Monkey Warfare." Go, Monkey, go!!) I've also quietly told the coworkers I like best and feel most comfortable with. I'm planning a get-together on my last Friday night, at the Dragon or Ping's or Joe's Garage; somewhere close. I'll keep people posted in case next week you'd like to stop by and give me a good-luck-toast on my new job...
