msfledermaus | Is it gonna rain?....

There's a big bank of clouds coming in from the East...
I think I'll take the little umbrella I bought when I was in New York.:) We could use some rain to wash all the dust away...Everything feels better when it's got a chance to be clean again. I did a small frenzy of cleaning at the Maus Haus...not enough, though. I'm just too burned out and tired to do the proper spring cleaning. (Though I did do some when I was on call for jury duty.) and today I need to resign my lease and set up an errand and sheesh, maybe get some more shampoo or something...I'm running out of all the weird little necessities. I know I have nail clippers, dammit. why can I never find the 3 or 4 pairs of nail clippers? Arrrghhhh!!!

Mr Sta-Puft (after much badgering from various coworkers) finally sent the email announcing my departure.
(Insert sarcastic "Yay!" here) It helps explain the new guy I've been training for part of the day. he's a good kid, smart, capable, but I think the Inferno might (Might?! Will!) take brutal advantage of that. it's all I can do to stay professional and not tell the new guy to run, run like he's never run before!! But we all have our learning experiences, I guess, and to interfere with his would be very bad indeed...
So I'm doing my best to give the new person whatever tools I can find to make his job a little easier.

And I guess on Friday I'm having a cake. Devil's food. Anyone suprised? didn't think so:)

After work on Friday, I'm having a party of my own...Red Dragon, after 5 pm. If you'd like to stop by and wish me luck, drop me an e-mail or something so I can count chairs and round up enough paper umbrellas...

OOh, the clouds are cloming closer...*gawks* they're all dark and water-heavy...cooool....
