Happy Friday!!!

....It's Thursday for me; I work tomorrow too, but I still have that happy Friday kind of feeling.
the new job is much less stressful than the other one, too, so I can count on some good pockets of quiet for a while today. mmmm....quiet goooood... and I'm getting all kinds of new ideas for painting...hard not to when you're suurounded by Matisse and Van Gogh and Magritte:)

The only tricky part is my feet. I need to get used to being on them longer. And no more walking there and home too; it's just too much. My feet were threatening to secede from the rest of my body last night unitl I gave them a hot bath and a really serious massage. I just put in some gel inserts this morning into shoes that are already pretty comfortable, so that should help a bit, but I think when I have a day off I should buy LOTS of peppermint foot goop.
I'm starting to get into the rhythm of things, at least...I can tell, I'm starting to knit again...sometimes when I'm under a LOT of stress I just stop for a little while. I can't concentrate. But the half-finished sock in the corner is just whispering, "Hey lady, howzabout finishing meeee?"

I am STILL unpacking! Starting another abstract for the real estate devloper...now he wants to take me to dinner...he loved the art I did for him. Said he wouldn't sell the one in his private office for $50,ooo!!!!! Now THAT was validation!
