Even at 7:30 in the morning it's starting to get hot out. Even indoors. I guess wearing a blazer probably doesn't help much, though...

I know today's going to be hectic here at work today...lotsa construction stuff going on. It's also day 6 in a very long workweek. (I wanted the weekend off for a friend's Bastille Day party. *starts humming, Tum te tum tum Tum tum TAAAH da-tum...) So I brought "Knitting for Anarchists" for something to read again, extra snacks, stuff to jolly my way through today. I know I'm joining the long list of friends who are feeling kinda burnt-out, though... (I'm not as bad as I could be, though. Wanna know why? I had a really insanely good cupcake with friends. Poof! the cake jones went away:)

Otherwise not much news on the home front. It's hot and sticky and I'm wishing for that early-autumn stuff I love so much. Fairs and corndogs and apples and leaves and cool cool breezes. Mmmmm...the nice thing about Minnesota Summers is hot and stucky thoughthey are, they can never really hang on that long...

Off to go punch in and check out the high-class tea bins:)

The weather report is saying that it's going to really hot out here this week. It's sort of the same as what you're going through though it's more of a dry heat out here.

It's a good book, too, explained in detail that instead of the screwed-up knitter I always believed I was, really I was a Continental knitter...and taught me how to work around it for some tricky things. woot!
