...Today's been a cakewalk at workies. I've been sitting around directing construction people and movers.
It is a bit boring, though. (I've come up with a new sock pattern,and sung "I'm Henry the Eighth, I am I am" about a gazillion times. One of the movers joked about going back to school to become a pizza delivery guy and I had to stifle giggles for about 10 minutes.)

Now I've got a minute to eat champagne grapes at you. Mmmm, lovely champagne grapes... Have you ever had any? No?!? Well you just better go off to the store and get some, you are missing out on one of the world's finest extravagances ever. They are small and sweet and perfect. And mine were free...not to rub it in or anything...

Oh man, these are good, Mmmmmmm....

I was chuckling the other day when I saw some sour grapes at the store. (That's how they were labeled.) I felt like buying some just for the visual effect.

"We're out of pie."

I had champagne grapes once and, yes, they are wonderful.

I was on vacation by myself in Door County. I had eaten lunch at a Swedish restaurant with a goat on the roof. I couldn't eat everything so I took the champagne grapes and some Swedish limp bread with me. Later, I stood at a spectacular view with the sound of pounding waves and ate them as a snack---and thought, "It doesn't get any better than this."
